Happy Monday Darlings! Hope your weekend was fantastic! Mine was great the husband and I slept a total of 12 hours Friday night! We went to bed at 7:30 Friday (it was supposed to be a nap, up by 9pm) we completely knocked out and woke up Saturday morning at 8am. It was awesome we had not done that in years, I really do not remember the last time I got to sleep in! :-) Saturday was quite lazy we did a lot of grocery shopping, I secretly envied the skills of Extreme Couponers! This the eve before Friday
Good Morning and Happy Thursday! I love Thursdays and tend to call them Friday's eve, hence why I love Thursdays! Geez thats almost a tongue twister! Well lets see what the lovely people at Groupon and Living Socials have to offer us today!
Groupon http://www.groupon.com/orange-county is offering a beauty day, for a mere $ 16 you get an express manicure and pedicure at Salon Shanti in Fountain Valley this usually has a $ 32.50 value. This is an awesome deal considering that the weekend is around the corner and my I phone forecast is promising sunny and clear days.
Living Socials http://livingsocial.com is offering $30 worth of Burger goodness at the Burger Kitchen for $15. The only catch is that this Burger haven is located in Los Angeles, that's about 40-60 minutes away from Orange County depending on traffic. I'm sure the Burger Kitchen wont disappoint check out their reviews on Yelp, but the drive is kind of a downer.

Its not raining in Orange County today which makes me a bit sad, see I am one of those odd California girls who enjoys the rain. I welcome it and even ask it to stay a day or two. No such luck this time around, don't get me wrong I enjoy a sunny breezy day, it seems that mother nature brings us sun and breeze today. I like the breeze/wind its so romantic, and it makes me want to dance! So its a win-win situation for me. Well lets see what the pretty people at Living Socials and Groupon bring us today.

When Craiglist Sellers Kill
Today was a very emotional day for me, my mom called me to let me know that a friend's son had been murdered. His life had been cut short at the tender age of 18 and that absolutely devastated me. Garrett's dad has been a great friend to my family and a business mentor to my parents and us. He is a man that has shown us kindness and inspired us. To know that at this moment he is facing one of the biggest pains any parents can face, breaks my heart. Garrett was killed on Wednesday after answering a Craigslist ad that turned out to be a scam and robbery. He just wanted to buy a computer and ended up losing his life. What's even sadder is that the master-minds behind all of this were 3, 17 year old boys. YES! 17 what is this world coming to. All I can do I pray that God comforts Garrett's family and friends, and that he shows mercy to those kids who robbed parents of their son, sibling of a brother, and Garrett of a full life.
